Scottish Tartlet Shells, Sweet - 4"

Our Scottish tart shell is slightly thicker and a bit sweeter than its French counterparts and the sides are fluted making it lovely as well as delicious!  This 4" tart shell is a perfect size for individual servings.  In addition to traditional fruit tartlets, these make wonderful hot tarts (similar to warm cobbler) in minutes!  Hint: When making tartlets which require baking the filling with the crust, simply start with a filling that has been partially cooked.  Then fill our pre-baked shells and finish the baking. This short cut will save time and prevent the shells from being overbaked.
